BCH8-63 2P AC contactor
Scope of application
BCH8 miniature automatic AC contactor (also known as modular contactor, construction contactor) is mainly suitable for power systems with AC 50Hz/60Hz, rated operating voltage up to 400V, and rated operating current up to
125A, in AC-1 (non-inductive or low-inductive loads, resistance furnaces, household appliances and low-inductive loads for similar purposes) use category, used for remote switches and control circuits, and can also be
used to control household motor loads. Household contactors are not used to break short-circuit current, so appropriate short-circuit protection appliances (such as small circuit breakers) should be selected when using them.
Comply with standards IEC61095, GB17885.BCH8 contactors can expand auxiliary control, protection and indication functions. The BCH8 household AC contactor is a control appliance used to remotely connect and disconnect
non-inductive or low-inductive loads, resistance furnaces, household appliances and similar low-inductive loads, household motors, etc.BCH8 household contactors are mainly used in homes, hotels, apartments, office buildings,
public buildings, shopping malls, stadiums and other places to realize automatic control functions.
Features
①. Modular control electrical appliances with novel structure and compact size.
②. The installation is track-based, the size is modular, and it is safe to use. It can be installed in the control lighting box in combination with a small circuit breaker.
③. Using high-quality insulation materials greatly improves safety.
④. Beautiful appearance, with working status indicator window.
⑤. No noise, suitable for hotels, hospitals and other places.
Model and its meaning
(eg. BCH8-25/20230V, It is 25A, 2 normally open, 230V AC coil voltage)
normal working conditions
Ambient air temperature: The upper limit of the ambient air temperature is +60℃ and the lower limit is -5℃. When the household AC contactor is installed in the distribution box, spacers must be assembled on both sides to
facilitate heat dissipation.
Altitude: The altitude of the installation site does not exceed 2000m.
Atmospheric conditions: When the installation temperature is +60°C, the relative humidity of the air does not exceed 50%. Higher relative humidity can be allowed at lower temperatures, such as up to 90% at +20°C. Occasionally caused by temperature changes Special measures should be taken for condensation.
Pollution level: Level II.
Installation category: Ⅱ.
Installation method: TH35-7.5 type guide rail is used for installation. There is no significant impact or vibration at the installation location. It is installed vertically. The inclination of the installation surface to any direction does not
exceed 5°.
The main technical parameters
Quota work system
a) Eight-hour working system: This working system is the basic working system. The agreed free air heating current Ith of the household AC contactor is determined by this working system.
b) Intermittent cycle working system: The rated operating frequency of household AC contactors under this working system is 30 times/h, and the load factor is 40%.
Action (operation) conditions
When the ambient air temperature is in the range of -5℃~+60℃, apply the rated power supply voltage Us to the contactor attraction coil to make it heat to a stable state, the contactor should be within the range of (85%~110%)
Us Can reliably close under any voltage; release and open between 75% and 20% of the rated control power supply voltage Us.
Product life
Mechanical life: The mechanical life of the modular contactor is not less than 1 million times.
Electrical life: The electrical life of the modular contactor is not less than 100,000 times.

working principle
When the coil is energized, the coil current generates a magnetic field, which generates enough electromagnetic attraction to overcome the reaction force, attract the armature, and connect the contacts. When the coil voltage
disappears or the coil voltage drops to a certain value, it is the so-called release voltage. , due to the reduction of the magnetic flux generated by the armature end face, the electromagnetic attraction force begins to be smaller
than the reaction force generated by the reaction spring, contact spring, etc. The contactor armature is released under the action of this reaction force, leaves the magnetic yoke, and the contacts are immediately disconnected.

Shape and installation dimensions
Installation, use and maintenance
Before installation, you should check the technical data of the household AC contactor (such as whether the rated voltage, current, operating frequency, etc. meet the requirements).
During installation, it should be installed according to the specified conditions. The terminal A1 of the contactor coil should be facing upwards, in line with human visual habits.
Contactors with metal mounting base plates must be properly grounded.
The terminal screws should be tightened. After checking that the wiring is correct, the suction coil should be energized and opened and closed several times when the main contact is not charged. The test action can be reliable
before it can be put into use.
If you find abnormal noise when using a household contactor, it may be that there is dirt on the pole surface of the iron core. Please clean the pole surface.
When using a household AC contactor, all parts of the product should be checked regularly to ensure that the movable parts are not stuck and the fasteners are not loose. If the parts are damaged, they should be replaced in
time.
Applications
BCH8 household contactors can be used in large-scale lighting circuit control, public hot water control, geothermal system power control, automatic roller shutter control, small motor control, etc.combine.It can effectively control
various electrical equipment in large public places such as hotels, hotels, stations, hospitals, and office buildings, and can be used as the ultimate terminal execution unit of intelligent building systems.
